Established in 1923, the Menemsha Inn is a charming inn and cottage compound nestled on 14 acres of flowering gardens and rolling woodlands, with moss-covered stone walls and wonderful ocean vistas. A short walk down a winding path and across the dunes brings you to Menemsha beach and Dutcher Dock, Menemsha's 300 year old commercial fishing wharf. Currently in it's 79th year of continuous operation, our inn is an up island institution known for a secluded, relaxed atmosphere that is pure Martha's Vineyard. More than half of our guests are returning friends who find their only solace on departure is booking their return vacation. |

We offer six spacious carriage house rooms, nine well appointed inn rooms, eleven charming housekeeping cottages with kitchens and fireplaces, and our 2 bedroom Mainstay Suite. All carriage house rooms, and most inn rooms and cottages have spectacular water views overlooking Vineyard Sound, Cuttyhunk Island and the Gay Head lighthouse. The Mainstay Suite, with two bedrooms, living room, a kitchen and spectacular waterview is our most elegant accommodation.
All accommodations have cable television, VCRs, telephones and internet access. The Inn also offers a tennis court, gym, horseshoes and ping pong room. | Menemsha Inn and Cottages: Terms and extra information:
A deposit of 50% is required on all advance reservations. For reservations of three nights or less the entire amount is requested. Payment in full upon arrival.
Cancellations must be received in writing 30 days prior to the day of arrival. There will be a 10% service fee assessed on all cancellations. No refund will be made to guests who cancel with less than 30 days notice unless we can re-rent the space. No refund will be made to guests who arrive after the scheduled arrival date or depart before the scheduled departure date. |
