Welcome to the Cranberry Manor Bed and Breakfast located in the heart of the historic town of Sandwich on olde Cape Cod. The Manor, a Dutch colonial style built in 1968, may not be historic but the interior and exterior design has been successfully practiced in the Far East for thousands of years. The ancient Chinese art of Feng Shui, meaning “wind and water,” is the art of living in harmony and comfort with the surroundings. The main purpose of Feng Shui is to allow an unobstructed circulation of positive energy in relationship to the environment. The use of light, color and placement of furniture stimulates the positive flow of ch’i, the life force that is found in every living thing. The Feng Shui styling inside and outside, is intended to create a maximum feeling of balance and contentment and to enhance the peace and restfulness of your stay. |

The Cranberry Manor features four themed guest rooms with private baths: Hydrangea, Daffodil, Morning Glory and Geranium, each tastefully decorated using age-old Feng Shui techniques. The experience begins as you enter the Manor into a warm cranberry colored living room with hardwood floors adorned by beautiful oriental rugs, a comfortable place to socialize, watch TV, play games or just sit and read the early morning paper with a hot cup of coffee. This cozy room opens into a casual dining room where a healthy, balanced, gourmet breakfast is served by the light of antique oil lamps. From here, step through French doors onto a spacious wood deck overlooking the gardens. When the weather permits, breakfast is served alfresco while you watch the many species of birds visiting the feeders in the yard. Walk down the steps onto a stone path that leads through the garden to the gazebo. The screened gazebo creates a perfect setting for a quiet afternoon of reading or just enjoying the tranquil surroundings.
Each bedroom is decorated using Feng Shui colors associated with its flowery name to bring the desired Feng Shui energy into the room. The furniture, an eclectic mix of new and vintage, is enhanced with many keepsakes and collectables of the innkeepers. Down pillows, fine linens, down comforters and handmade quilts adorn the beds. Along with an endless supply of bottled water, wireless high-speed internet access and TV. Each room’s bathroom also reflects the décor of the bedroom and has thick luxurious towels and array of bath and shower amenities.
